Beskrivning

Ice är vinterridkläder för dig som tillbringar mycket tid utomhus då de är både riktigt varma och tål nederbörd. Isoleringen består av syntetdun som har fördelen att den bibehåller de värmande egenskaperna även i fuktigt tillstånd. Med Ice sportiga stil syns du i mörkret med plaggens många reflexer.

Ridkjolen - en uppfinning av Uhip

Ridkjolen är Uhips verkliga klassiker som vi uppfann med syftet att hålla ryttaren varm i sadeln utan bylsiga täckbyxor. Genom att öppna upp tvåvägsdragkedjan fram och dragkedjan bak kan du sitta i sadeln medan kjolen hänger ner och värmer dina lår. På insidan av kjolen sitter benband som du kan fästa runt låren för att hålla kjolen på plats.

Funktioner för ryttare

Kjolen är väldigt enkel att ta på och av med tvåvägsdragkedjan fram. Tack vare att täckkjolen är delbar upptill behöver du aldrig dra igenom skitiga skor, du kan till och med ta av den när du sitter på hästryggen. Perfekt att kunna ta av efter uppvärmningen och sätta på när det är dags för att skritta av hästen.

7/5 Bonded Polyester 2-layer
Polyester Ripstop with a matt surface and bonded quilting. The TPU membrane will provide high waterprotection and breathability.

100% Polyester
Polyester has exceptional colour resistance and retains colour intensity very well. Other benefits are its high tolerance to many chemicals and extremely low water absorption (for example, when you perspire, the material releases moisture into the air instead of absorbing it. Uhip is aiming to use only recycled polyester in future.

Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

MP: 5000g/m2/24h
Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day.

Taped seams
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.

Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes of RUDOLF GROUP to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.

Insulation:
Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
