Vinterkjolen har en sportig look och yttertyget är i ett vädertåligt material. Den är tillverkad av en god mängd värmande syntetdun som har samma värmande egenskaper som dun med fördelen att den bibehåller de värmande egenskaperna även i fuktigt tillstånd. Termokjolen Ice ett mångsidigt överdragsplagg som är smidig att ta av och på med tvåvägsdragkedja fram som är delbar upptill.

Kjolen är normal i storleken och kan justeras i midjan för perfekt passform.

Beskrivning

Täckkjolen är Uhips klassiska plagg som vi uppfann med syftet att hålla ryttaren varm i sadeln utan bylsiga täckbyxor. Ett plagg som även passar in i livsstilen med hund och hundträning. Den knälånga täckkjolen har en sportig look och har funktioner som håller dig varm och torr i alla lägen. De elastiska benbanden på insidan gör att kjolsidorna sitter på plats även när du cyklar, går eller är utomhus i blåsigt väder.

Med Ice sportiga stil syns du i mörkret med plaggens många reflexer. Familjens plagg har en figurnära passform men har ändå en rörelsefrihet och tillräcklig med vidd för att du ska kunna ha på dig ett mellanlager under samt lite luft. Luften under värms upp av kroppsvärmen och är viktig för funktionen.

Shell:

7/5 Bonded Polyester 2-layer
Polyester Ripstop with a matt surface and bonded quilting. The TPU membrane will provide high waterprotection and breathability.

100% Polyester
Polyester has exceptional colour resistance and retains colour intensity very well. Other benefits are its high tolerance to many chemicals and extremely low water absorption (for example, when you perspire, the material releases moisture into the air instead of absorbing it. Uhip is aiming to use only recycled polyester in future.

Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day.

Taped seams
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.

Bionic Finish ECO Fluorocarbon free DWR
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes of RUDOLF GROUP to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.

Insulation:
Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
